Gen 1 P2

With her due date only a few days away Xavier and Renae still hadn't decided on a baby name. Xavier had a couple picked out that he really liked.

Renae wasn't so sure that she liked the same ones that he did but eventually they agreed on a name they both loved for each gender.

Salim was having a party at his place and the music was so loud that it woke both Xavier and Renae from their sleep. Renae asked Xavier if he would go knock on Salim's door and let him know the music was a little too loud. 

Instead of being polite about it though Xavier unleashed a little bit if his fury on his friend. Salim was very apologetic as he didn't realize they could hear the music. This apartment building's walls were not insulated very well. 

"I talked to him babe and everything is fine. He is going to keep the music down. How are you feeling?"

Renae hadn't honestly been sleeping all that well anyway before the music got too loud. 

"I think the baby might be coming sooner rather then later. My stomachs been getting tight with slight cramping all night." 

Later that morning as Renae was reading on the Simpad when her water broke. 

"Xavier ... I think it's time!"

Once at the hospital the doctor didn't waste any time in getting Renae ready for delivery. She barely had time to comprehend what was going on when they hooked her up to the machine. Xavier was a mess standing next to her panicking. Which, honestly, was not very comforting. 

After two days in the hospital Renae and Xavier came home with their beautiful baby boy. They had decided on the name Jin after Xavier's great-grandfather. 

What followed were a lot of sleepless night's with feeding and diaper changing. There seemed to be a constant flow of baby puke, poop, and pee. Xavier was a huge help though always stepping in and doing what he could so Renae could rest.  

Once Jin became a toddler things didn't get much easier. Sure he slept all night long, unless he had a nightmare, but he was a handful and always on the move. People tell you that being a parent is hard but you can never truly understand until it happens to you. 

They are always wanting to eat. 

Needing help to go potty.

Making messes that need to be cleaned. 

The only time you really get some peace is when they are sleeping but by then you are so tired that all you want to do is sleep too. 

Renae wouldn't have it any other way though. She loved being a mom and knew that she wanted at least one more some day. But for now she needed to enjoy spending as much time with Jin as possible. She decided that working for her parents foundation was too time consuming and quit. 

Instead of getting another job right away Renae took some time off to spend it with Jin. She had made a lot of money in the year she worked at the foundation and tucked most of it away in savings. 

Jin really did keep her busy so much so that being a mom was a full time job in itself. 

Xavier took this time that Renae was home to work on his programming and gaming skills. He built himself a better computer and was in the process of creating an app to help bring in some extra cash. 

When Xavier wasn't busy with his job he spent time with Jin as well. 

Every day Xavier reads Jin a different story. Jin absolutely loves story time and it's a great bonding time for father and son.

After story time Jin is usually tired so Xavier will tuck him in for a little nap. 

Renae loves playing around with Jin and twirling him in the air. She did wish they had a little backyard though that she could take him out in to play.

Xavier and Renae finally gave up on trying to keep up with all the messes that Jin makes and hired a maid to clean once a week. It has become really helpful to them to have her doing more of the deep cleaning around the apartment.
